How do I convert my free trial to a paid subscription?

At any time during your trial, simply log in and navigate to your Account. Click “billing” and select “upgrade”. You will be offered a range of subscription choices. You can also wait until the conclusion of your trial and click through from the final email to activate your subscription account. Or, you can contact us at any point and we will be happy to help.

What is included in the Premier and Professional Trials?

Captricity’s free trials give you full access to all of the features at the respective level for 14 days. During this period you will be able to digitize up to 100 pages free of charge. We encourage you to contact us so that we can help you get the most from Captricity during your trial period.

What if I choose the wrong trial level?

If you find that you want access to features not included in your current trial level, contact us and we can help find a trial that fits your needs.

Is there a benefit to buying an annual versus a monthly subscription?

Yes! All customers who sign up for an annual subscription will receive a 15% discount on the fees.

Do subscription fields expire?

Subscription customers receive a set amount of fields every month. At the end of each month, unused fields expire, and new fields are added.

Is my subscription automatically renewed?

Yes! Once you enter your credit card information, it is saved in Captricity’s system. Unless you email support@captricity.com to cancel or downgrade, your credit card will automatically be charged on the first day of each billing cycle. If payment fails, we will contact you with instructions for upgrading your credit card.

What happens if I upgrade my account?

Once you have selected your upgrade level and your payment has been confirmed, you will be automatically upgraded and your account will have the appropriate amount of fields added. These will be available for immediate use. You will be reimbursed a pro-rated amount for any fields remaining on your previous subscription at the time of upgrade.

How do I downgrade or cancel my subscription?

If you find that you no longer need a monthly or annual subscription at the current level, you can downgrade. Please email our support team at support@captricity.com at least two business days before the end of your billing cycle and indicate the tier you would like to downgrade to. You will be downgraded to the lower tier after the last day of your current billing cycle. To cancel a subscription, email our support team at support@captricity.com and please be sure to contact us at least 2 full business days before your subscription expires.

What happens when I downgrade my subscription?

If you are on a monthly subscription plan and you downgrade, your account will remain at the previous level until your monthly billing cycle is complete. If you have an annual subscription, the same rules apply -- your account will be billed for the full year and your downgrade will take effect on the anniversary of the data you enrolled for an annual subscription.

What happens when I cancel my subscription?

When you cancel a subscription, your subscription will be valid until the end of your current billing cycle, and it will simply not renew for the next billing cycle. For example, if you joined at the Premium level on the 5th of the month, your account will remain at the Premium level until the 4th of the subsequent month, depending on the day you cancel. If you have an annual subscription, the same rules apply. Your account will be billed for the full year and your downgrade will take effect on the anniversary of the data you enrolled for an annual subscription.

How do I buy more fields?

To purchase more fields, log-in to Captricity, click “Account,” then “Billing.” You’ll be able to see how many fields you have and, if you choose, can click “Buy More” to top up your balance.
